Thanks for stopping by OhNoWire.
If you don’t know what we do or who we are then that’s alright. We’re new in business. Well, not in the common sense, you see. We’re pretty experienced, but we’re a new name in the business – the new kid on the block.
We work with pervasive computing, putting information technology to work in the stangest places, like mobile phones, stores, ladies purses and so on. And we like social software like Flickr, MySpace and Twitter so we aim to integrate many gadgets with modern web applications.
Sounds complicated? Yeah, actually it is, and it’s very rewarding. We like to innovate and get a kick out of doing so, but at the same time we’re also pretty pragmatic with regards to the tools we use and approaches we take.
So what may we help you with? Well, when we founded this institution we thought to ourselves that it should have a name that fits the purpose, so we called it OhNoWire… Or, actually: Oh! No wire? You see, it’s all about putting new technology to work and enabling people to communicate without wires attached. We like to think that we bridge people and technologies. And that’s what we’ll help you with
We work with technologies like bluetooth, rfid, wifi, gps, embedded computers, various programming languages and modern software tools to rapidly develop, prototype and integrate our gadgets and software.
Our aim with OhNoWire is to provide services for companies and organisations that consider utilising pervasive computing for improving and developing products and services. And we’ll also develop some of the ideas that spring from our own minds into products and services.
So, get in touch with us in case you need to take the first or second step in pervasive computing.
Cheers,
The OhNoWire Team
